The Inaugural HIPERFIRE Rifle Challenge Registration Launches on Thursday April 30th at 7PM (EST)

This event will feature 8-10 challenging Rifle only stages including bay style, long range and natural terrain areas.

The Event will be held at Woody’s Hunt and Rifle Club (Home of the Tarheel3gun Series)

Event Dates: FRIDAY Oct 2nd and SATURDAY Oct 3rd -2015

Event Cost: $185.00 (plus NC Sales Tax) $175.00 for Juniors and Active or Retired Mil/LEO

Very Interesting Divisions:

RIFLE ONLY MATCH DIVISIONS

Suppressor are allowed in all of the following division. At present we are working towards a Suppressor incentives if and when that is secured will announce the guidelines on the incentive.

STANDARD RIFLE DIVISION

• Firearms must function and operate as in the original factory configuration.

• Internal and External modifications are allowed, provided the modifications do not alter the original function and operation of the firearm.

• There are no magazine capacity or magazine length restrictions in this division.

• There are no limitations on accessories, to include laser systems.

• Rifle supporting devices (i.e. bipods, etc.) may be added or removed during the course of the event.

• No limitation on Optic(s) in this Division…yes two optics can be used.

• Compensator are allowed in this division provided the compensator is not larger than one (1”) inch in diameter and three (3”) inches long, measured from the barrel muzzle to the end of the compensator.

• .223 (5.56 x 45mm NATO) minimum rifle caliber

SHORT BARRELED STANDARD RIFLE DIVISION

• The barrel length cannot exceed 12.5 inches long without a compensator attached.

• Shall comply with the STANDARD RIFLE DIVISION rules

• .223 (5.56 x 45mm NATO) minimum rifle caliber

NON MAGNIFIED RIFLE DIVISION

• Firearms must function and operate as in the original factory configuration.

• Internal and External modifications are allowed, provided the modifications do not alter the original function and operation of the firearm.

• All Rifle magazines must be in a thirty (30) round factory configuration max length only. There is no maximum capacity, as long as the magazine is of legal length or less. Use of lower capacity magazines is allowed. The use of factory or aftermarket extended base pads, whether they increase capacity or not, are forbidden.

• Non Magnified Division rifles may be equipped with iron sights and or no more than one (1) non-magnified (1x) optical sight. Both sight systems may be used in conjunction, co-witnessed or offset.

• Rifle supporting devices (i.e. bipods, etc.) may be added or removed during the course of the event.

• Silo rail devices are allowed

• Compensator are allowed in this division, provided the compensator is not larger than one (1”) inch in diameter and three (3”) inches long, measured from the barrel muzzle to the end of the compensator.

• Suppressors are allowed in this Division

• .223 (5.56 x 45mm NATO) minimum rifle caliber

SHORT BARRELED RIFLE NON MAGNIFIED DIVISION

• The barrel length cannot exceed 12.5 inches long without a compensator attached (to the threads).

• Shall Comply with the NON MAGNIFIED RIFLE DIVISION rules

• .223 (5.56 x 45mm NATO) minimum rifle caliber

HEAVY RIFLE DIVISION

• This Division shall receive a “scoring concession”.

• SCORING CONCESSION HEAVY DIVISION ONLY:

• Only one hit anywhere on paper targets is required -Competitors in these divisions shall be required to have at least ONE SCORING HIT on paper with Rifle anywhere inside the border perforation. The hit or hits only need to touch or break the perforation to avoid penalty.

• Firearms must function and operate as in the original factory configuration.

• Internal and External modifications are allowed, provided the modifications do not alter the original function and operation of the firearm.

• Rifles must be a .308 Winchester (7.62×51 NATO) minimum.

• There are no limitations on accessories, to include laser systems.

• Rifle supporting devices (i.e. bipods, etc.) may be added or removed during the course of the event.

• No limitation on Optic(s) in this Division…yes two optics can be used in this division

• There are no magazine capacity or magazine length restrictions in this division.

• Compensator are allowed in this division provided the compensator is not larger than one (1”) inch in diameter and three (3”) inches long, measured from the barrel muzzle to the end of the compensator.

• The barrel length cannot exceed 12.5 inches long without a compensator attached (to the threads).

• Shall comply with the HEAVY RIFLE DIVISION rules to include scoring concession

• Rifles must be a .308 Winchester (7.62×51 NATO) minimum.

Note: A minimum of ten (10) competitors must participate in any division at the beginning of the event, for that division to be considered for cash payouts or prizes table acknowledgement. All divisions that don’t meet the aforementioned minimum shall be collapsed into the largest division.

I'd shoot SBR but don't want to deal with the NFA hassle living out of state so Standard division it is. Already made hotel arrangements and looking forward to it!
