Bwana Six-Gun
Glenn Whitfield, a long time member of Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club passed away Tuesday night, 3/321/2015, due complications of his lymphoma treatment. Glenn was instrumental in starting the ICORE and Steel Challenge matches at Magnolia R & P. When I started shooting USPSA in '93, he was one of the old timers. He was always willing to lend a hand to new shooters and never was seen without a smile on his face. He was a fine gentleman and a good friend. He will be missed by many. Sorry for your loss, he must have touched quite a few just from what you have shared. Thanks for that. It's guys like that who brought me back to this sport. Henry625
I am truly sorry to hear about Glenn, he was a real southern gentleman. I met Glenn on my fist trip to Magnolia several years ago to shoot some ICORE and he was a friend from then on. He promoted the shooting sports and was a welcoming face at match registration. He will be missed.......
