Shooter115
Guess I wasn't talking about what published data shows. I was speaking from what I've recently expeienced working up 77gr Nosler loads in 2 different 5.56 chambered rifles. Both started to show fairly significant primer flattening at 24 grains. Luckily this was right where I hit the accuracy and velocity I was looking for. This load was worked up starting at 22 gr and testing batches in both rifles. bbates
Std weight bcg and std a5 buffer might not be as soft but runs better than the lighter stuff with the 55's Shot again today 75 hornadys out shot the 77g Tmk at 100 I'll probably end up running between 23.5g and 24g of Tac though as it outshot the others at 100 but will shoot 200 & 300 to confirm I will end up just over 2700 fps with those Varget and the 77 g Tmk shot good 23.5 g just below 2600 fps 23g of 8208 with 75 shoots good 2650 ish fps
93notch
i am looking for one of these barrels but i want to load it to shoot as soft as possible as most of the matches i shot right now don't venture out past 200 at the most

No reason to load as hot as some people do even for 600 yards. I have tried 40-69 grains and they all do well out of the Stretch16s. 40 grains at 2500 fps is well, dang soft.
