ny700
So the other day I saw someone selling a Rami lower mated to a P01 slide. Sounds like a great combo for conceal cary. Wondering if this is something readily available for order, an if anyone had any experience with one?
CZ85Combat
you have to put it together yourself. Takes two guns to make one. you need 1 PO1 frame & 1 RAMI slide. Edited February 24, 2015 by CZ85Combat
thompsoncustom
I think your talking about my gun that I just sold, it was a PCR upper (compact D) on a rami frame. Not to hard to do and ya for concealed carry it should be great, longer sight radius and lower felt recoil. I'm also working on the CZ 75 XCR (google it) which is the opposite, the rami upper on a PCR lower, that takes a lot more work but is still doable. Biggest downside is you have to buy two guns, the Rami 4.0 was just a by product of the XCR project. rhart123
The XCR sounds more sensible to me as I don't like the short handle on the RAMI, but I like the shorter barrel.
thompsoncustom
I to like the XCR more than the rami 4.0 for the same reason. I carry fullsized guns for the large grip and capacity but the XCR is very close to the full sized grip and the modified flush fitting mag holds 15rds, I find it to be the best of both worlds.
