12lb recoil spring/17lb mainspring/200gr bullets

My 5" gun is set up with a 12lb to 15lb recoil spring and a 17lb mainspring. I would like to use 185gr to 200gr bullets. I want a fast cycling / low recoil load that behaves like a light bullet .40 S&W load (155gr) and/or a 9mm recoil impulse. I know I am shooting for the moon in my wants and wishes herein but if you have any ideas let me know. And I like Vit powders..................

I know I am asking the impossible but any ideas will be considered.

I use a 12 or 14 & 17 and I shoot a 200gn Masterblaster (coated bullet). I use 4.3gn of Clays. Load makes 170pf (850fps) out of my 5" Kimbers.

Load also works in a Glock 36.

Cycles nicely but doesn't beat up the gun.

I don’t know about the 17 pound mainspring ,it will not touch off some primers particularly Winchester

i use ismi 15 pound mainspring but use only winchester small pistol primers and have never had a primer failure

I've got 17 pound main springs in both my Kimber in .45 and my Para in 40, and I can even shoot CCI primers which seems to be the hardest of the primer mfg. I use Winchester primers almost exclusively.

200 or 185 LSWC over 3.8 or 3.9 of N310. Nice, accurate target load. 12-15 lb spring.

I've run a 17-pound Wolff mainspring in my Wilson .45 for coming up on 30 K rounds. Never had a failure to light off, with Winchester or Federal large pistol primers, or even the hard primers in the Russian Wolf ammo.

probably about time to chance springs, seems the lock time is slowing.
