magoo
Anybody used the 124 gr. TCG Bayou Bullets? Are they as accurate as the roundnose 124gr? I have had great luck with the 124 gr. Roundnose, was just wondering if there is any difference between the two. I'm shooting them in CZ 75 SPO1 Shadow Target. Time to buy bullets for next year! razorfish
The TC profile can be tricky with the CZ's so watch your OAL if you try these. My Shadows have to be loaded pretty short when using most truncated cone bullets. I haven't tested the grooveless bullets by Bayou, but I would imagine they are the same top quality I've come to expect from Donnie's bullets. I would love to see some accuracy testing between the new Bayou grooveless bullets vs. the older style grooved bullets in a Shadow... maybe you're the guy we need to get this testing done
magoo
Donnie's bullets are great. My OAL with the 124 gr. round nose is 1.140 with 3.9 gr. N 320. I was hoping that someone has done some testing with the new TCG bullet.
accu9
The 124gr TC has a much less forgiving profile in terms of OAL vs. RN 124gr, make sure they pass in your chamber. I did not notice any difference in accuracy between the two styles.

I'm using the 180g TCG in my Limited gun now and they're very easy to load and accurate. I think no one will be disappointed in the grooveless bayous. andrewtac
why not stay with the RN if they work? I use the 160 RN and no issues, load to 1.135.
Smitty79
I loaded the 124 TC bullets to 1.08 for a CZ85. As near as I can tell from playing with my son's Shadow, the barrel is the same. I just had a 100 that I used for load development so I don't have good accuracy data.
