9x45
So for example, you put in an aftermarket 9mm conversion barrel in your G22. Does that still fit in Limited Division? The current rules, under special conditions, seem to indicate no by default. UNLESS a modification is SPECIFICALLY authorized in the rules or SPECIFICALLY authorized in an official, published NROI interpretation, it is considered a PROHIBITED MODIFICATION.Open Division21 Authorized modifications Not applicable22 Prohibited modifications Not applicableLimited DivisionNot addressed
LilBunniFuFu
There I quite a few people that run cailbre conversions in limited, I have not heard of an instance where they get bumped to open. I would like to know more about the legality as well.

9x45
Yes, they're legal. Ok, by what path? How do you get around the special conditions rule? It says if it's not specifically allowed, then it's dis-allowed.Unless it is specifically invoked by Rule 19? That's my question. APPENDIX D2 — Limited Division 19 Handgun specifically approved for Division N/A APPENDIX D3 — Limited-10 Division 19 Handgun specifically approved for Division Yes — see Special Conditions Special conditions: See exceptions above. APPENDIX D4 —Production Division 19 Handgun specific approval for Division Yes - see Special Conditions Special conditions: UNLESS a modification is SPECIFICALLY authorized in the rules or SPECIFICALLY authorized in an official, published NROI interpretation, it is considered a PROHIBITED MODIFICATION. EkuJustice
That's for production that if it's not stated it's allowed it's not allowed. For limited/lim10/open if it's not specifically disallowed it's allowed. That's why you occasionally saw slide rackets on limited guns as it never said you couldn't
kneelingatlas
Yes, they're legal. APPENDIX D2 Limited Division 19 Handgun specifically approved for Division N/A There's your answer. Production is the only division which tells you what you can do, the others only tell you what you can't do.

The Standard of all USPSA rules, if it doesn't say you can't. then you can!
