Powerbroker
Hi! My first post. I Am new in this sports. I have a Tanfog stock 2 9mm. Is 1.165 OAL with 130gr Teflon okay with the gun? I have an occasional nose dive (inside the mag) with shorter OAL (1.150)
Garmil
Do the plunk test. Make on at 1.165 The cartridge should fall all the way in, without any pushing, and spin freely in the chamber, and drop freely from the chamber if you turn the barrel upside down. If it does youre okay.

Powerbroker
1.165 seems long. I run my 9mm @ 1.145 I seem to fit the tanfog based on the above stated testing. Is there any pro and con for the 130gr, teflon, N320 std load, 3.8, oal:1.165? My tanfog had an occasional nose dive. My reloader suggested that specifications. i shot 300 rounds and there was no problem. I just notice that the plates won't drop easily with it. Comments and suggestions are appreciated. Nealio
I would think you would have nose dive issues loading that long due to the rounds dragging on the inside of the magazine. Is this a round nose profile or flat point?
bayougump
I load my 147's at around 1.130, I could prolly load tad longer but I've never had a single issue with that length
BiggMike
I load my 124's at 1.125 and they shoot very well.

Is this a round nose profile or flat point? the shorter OAL has round and pointed nose. The 1.165 is round nose. I shot 100 ronds today with shorter OAL. No nose dive. I was thingking, maybe, the mags were dirty when the rounds were nosediving. I have been using the reloads which are dirty.
