bockerSV
Okay, looking to get my ducks in a row and order some extra stuff to have around for my Shadow. So far on the list I have - +10% mag springs - a couple different strength recoil/main springs - extractor - slide stop - trigger return springs - firing pin springs - one of those floating trigger pins even though I'm not sure exactly what to order so I'll just call - some punches and stuff to make my life a little easier - extra fiber optic rod, I have about 8 foot of .9mm and my ACCU Shadow takes 1mm, grr. Anything I'm missing? Or that you guys like to have around.
trgt
If adjustable rear sight (HAJO or LPA) - spare adjustable rear sight (or) - backup fixed rear sight with matched height front sight Good list. FWIW, a lot of CZ in this area, the main things that have broken at inopportune times for folks last year are - fiber optics breaking / dropping out - adjustable rear sights (typically the pivot pin breaks or drifts out) - slide stop - trigger return spring
Andreas
Anything I'm missing? Or that you guys like to have around. Spare gun. I had the elevation adjustment on my HAJO shear off once, so I keep one of those and the other innards in my range bag. The floating trigger pin is good stuff. It wanders around a bit but doesn't fall out. The firing pin does shorten over time. Figure on replacing it periodically. I replace the extractor pin and spring when I swap out the extractor. bockerSV
And I do have a 75bd kicking around, might have to get a little trigger work done and toss some fibers on it one of these days for a back up, fits nicely in my bladetech made for my shadow.
