Will factory 38 super +p Armscor run a stock trubor?

Hi, i don't reload. i will in a year but for now unfortunately can not.

I need to purchase some 38 super ammo that will run a stock factory STI trubor.

i found some Armscor 38 super +p but thought i'd ask before spending lots of money.

Also, can anyone recommend a good place to buy ammo that will run this pistol.

Do you need to make Major power factor with this ammo? If so, what power factor do you need, 160 or 165 - since we can't see what country you are from.

My experience with the Armscor is that it won't make Major power factor. Their 125 grain load ran around 150 power factor from a 5" barrel.

If you need to make Major power factor, check the list in Table 2 at the link below for factory ammo that will make Major.

You could also try Atlanta arms and ammo or universal shooting academy ammo

My stock TruBor (9mm) ran pretty well on factory 9mm ammo IFF

the gun was clean and well lubed.

thanks...just need it to run the gun, do not necessarily need major power factor. I appreciate the reference. the pierced primer is disconcerting with the armscor. i'll have to see what else i can find at a decent price.
