Poa poi question

If it's two inches low @ 7yds, where is it at 25yds ???

Pretty near poa poi but with a pretty good spread. I just did a search and found that some glock barrels don't like plated bullets.

My glock 34 with Montana gold jhp's is much more consistent and tighter groups at 25 yards. And perfect poa poi at 7.

They both use the same sights and trigger....

Are plated bullets not very accurate out of a stock glock barrel?

My guess is that it depends on the particular barrel and type of bullet

I have been very disappointed with federal plated 9mm in a 19 yet I have also tried 220 gr hardcasts (lots of fun) in a 20 with decent results despite hearing that the 220's tend to not work well in stock barrels. I fully expected keyholing with the 220 gr 10mm but it cut nice circles in paper, yet the plated 9mm federal keyholed!

Everyone should always take the time to actually zero their gun

Shoot from a 25 yard benchrest and make sure your sights are right

Then understand your trajectory approaching and beyond your zero

For closer shooting, just hold dead center and you'll hit with a 25 yard zero
