Doctor Posted May 11, 2014 Share Posted May 11, 2014 when a case get stuck in the die,i can use a punch to get the brass out. I have to unscrew the decapping pin and i was wondering how to put it back and get the 3/16 inch pin length adjusted properly. Is there an organized way to go about this? ZackJones Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Another way that works is if you have another 9mm case with the primer already out put it in the shell plate and then run it up into the die. Seat the pin accordingly. Make sure you make things nice and tight. The bigger question is why are you getting cases stuck in the die to begin with? That shouldn't happen. Doctor Posted May 12, 2014 Author Share Posted May 12, 2014 there is a learning curve for this craft, i have been doing this for a few months and i make new mistakes quite regularly but never doubled charged. The guy next to me at the Scottsdale gun club did with a 45 and i think he lost his eye reloading is like flying, it is unforgiving to small mistakes, but the big ones are really big i appreciate all the replies, This forum is really helpful.
