Bayou 124 or BBI 125 over IMR 7625

Would anyone have some data on Bayou 124 RN or BBI 125 RN over IMR 7625? Most of the data I find is for plated or jacketed HP or Berry's with the hollow back.

I did see the IMR 7625 thread over on the CZ forums for a load for the BBI, but wanted to see if there were others out there.

Thanks!

I use 4.6 for 124/125 jacketed/plated at 1.110

4.2 for 124/125 coated at the same OAL

3.6 for 147 plated/jacketed at 1.145

3.4 for 147 coated at 1.120

All do 130 PF in my guns YMMV.

I'm about .2gns higher than this. But I'm only shooting out of a 4.5in barrel and going for 132 pf.

Good info, I got lucky last month to find 8lb jug of this powder, will do some testing soon!

I also use 3.4 under 147gr lead or coated in my XDM 5.25. Very soft and very accurate.

my stated charges will vary plus or minus depending on barrel length and how fast the barrel is ect. These will give you a good starting point and you may have to add a tenth or 2 to get where you want to be. I have found 7625 to be an excellent powder for 9mm. It is slow enough to keep you out of trouble but just fast enough to give a really soft recoil impulse. It is clean and accurate in all of my guns and works well with most any type and weight of bullet.

When you step up to .40 though that is a different ball game. It works great in 9mm minor but it is loud, flashy and gives harsh recoil compared to faster powders in .40. This has been my experience, yours may vary.
