  1. If you don’t have a square trigger guard and you’re getting a lot of movement while holstered think about getting a muzzle support.
  2. I just started using the DAA for SC and Action Pistol for a 45 acp single stack and once adjusted I love it. I was using a Ghost Stinger and there is no comparison to the draw. Because of the rounded trigger guard I added the muzzle support. I know DAA offers a revolver adaptor for the muzzle support. Just something you should look at.
  3. 4" BASTARD NICHOLSON FLAT FILES are great all round files. I would also recommend a set of Swiss cut #2 files, https://www.riogrande.com/Product/glardon-vallorbe-precision-12-piece-needle-file-set-swiss-cut-2/114933 You’ll also need to order handles for all the above.
  4. Barnes, Lyman, Hodgdon, and Sierra bullets reloading manuals for a start.
  5. +1 shakman and the MGM auto poppers. I have 3 standard and 3 colt that I use from 25 yards to 50 yards with pistol. They work great. If you search on ‘MGM Targets Auto Popper Standard Shape With Sniper Legs’ you can find them for a reasonable price.

  7. Too much alcohol and I see two sights
  8. Take a look @ http://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Ghost-Belt-Carbon-P2281.aspx Can’t go wrong with the price…
  9. I have still not measured what my OAL is with SWCs. The shoulder of the SWC is a finger nails width above the case mouth. These feed in my 1911s, two XDs’s(hers and mine), and a Glock 41. Most modern handguns should feed SWC with out issue.
  10. Whatever vise you choose make sure it’ll swivel 360 degrees. I’ve found two on crigslist in my area, both American made Wiltons
  11. 3.9 to 4.2 gr of Bullseye, depending on the gun.
  12. I have a friend who just order a new belt from http://www.chameleon-fabrics.com/ipsc-3-gun-stuff/ Looks good. For the money my next belt will be ordered from them.
  13. Print out a few sight-in targets http://www.targets.ws/sight-in-targets.htm Install the Heinie sight Off a rest @ 25 yards see where you’re POA/POI are then use a sight height calculator http://www.brownells.com/GunTech/Sight_Height_Calculator/detail.htm?lid=13186
  14. You can make a small mod to the slide stop https://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=214653 Makes putting the slide stop back in easy.
  15. I use TG in the same powder measure and have very consistent drops. I would thoroughly clean the measure then use a drier sheet to wipe everything down inside and out. After I empty powder I use a drier sheet to clean out the hopper every time. Never had an issue with the powder measure.
  16. Go to a couple matches at Aurora Gun club and ask. They have two a month. The first Sunday and last Saturday of the month. Good luck...
  17. I use a Wilson Low Lever safety - http://shopwilsoncombat.com/Thumb-Safety-Low-Lever-Bullet-Proof-Blue/productinfo/6BLLBP/- along with thin grips.
  18. Contact Garrett Industries, http://www.giholsters.com/ Leather lined kydex. They can setup L1 on any of their holsters.
  19. I use OneShot, and if I have time I tumble for no more than 10 minutes. There is one bullet you shouldn’t tumble, don’t ask, and that’s X-Treme’s Hollow Points. The media will compress in the HP cavity, pain to pick out. If you don't clean it out of the cavity after about 50 rounds your gun will start to malfunction, don’t ask.
  20. What bullet weight? I have some of the powder and have some test loads ready to chrono. 200gr LSWC BBI starting load of 3.8gr going by .2gr increments up to 5.2gr. OAL, I need to measure it. I just go by the case mouth and about a finger nails width to the bullet shoulder. If I get out this weekend I'll post results.
