.38 Super is much nicer to shoot than 9mm.

I heard this when researching my first open gun and purchased a .38SC as a result. The gun was absolutley fantastic, but after trying a few different 9majors, I made the switch myself. I much prefer the 9mm. The difference in recoil is a non issue. I don't have to worry about brass. My ears are much happier and the 9mm is cheaper to shoot. I wish I had never listened to the ".38SC is nicer to shoot" crowd because all it did was cost me a lot of money and create a few issues that I no longer have with 9Major. I realize this is a Chevy VS Ford type argument, so I am not saying the .38Super is wrong for everyone. It was just wrong for me.

There is a slight difference in recoil between the 2. But just the fact that I don't have to worry about picking up brass and I can concentrate on the match instead makes the 9 all worth it. Plus, where can you find Super or SC brass lately?
