I will shoot a smaller match if is with in driving distance of a major. If you count 3 gun matches we will probably shoot 10+ matches this year. LPatterson Posted December 23, 2004 Share Posted December 23, 2004 I am going to settle for 1 next year because it is the only one I am sure is within 700 driving miles of lovely scenic Montana. Though I did make the 2003 frozen Area 1 match at Bend, who would have thought 18 degrees & 2 inches of snow. Next time I hope they ask for July or August so it might be above freezing. Religious Shooter Posted December 25, 2004 Share Posted December 25, 2004 I was planning on four. RM3G, 3G Nationals, Area 1 3G and Area 2 3G. But after pricing just RM3G and Area 1/2 3G at $1,800.00 without all the bullets and misc gear... I'm gonna just go with three and go to RM3G, USPSA 3G Nationals and Area 2 3G. 22 local matches per year, club dues and range fees, gas for the local matches, bullets, powder, primers and misc gear will add another $3,000.00. $5,000.00+ a year on a hobby.
