  1. You were fast enough to win the L10! Congratulations!
  2. Count a big Thank-You in for me too! What those soldiers are going through over there while I am home in safety with my family is Sincerely appericiated.
  3. I started using a Ghost a couple of months ago, and so far I really like it. Add another satisfied Ghost customer to the list.
  4. I bought my Limited gun from Bob L. When the time comes and the funds allow it I will purchase an open gun from him too.
  5. Brazos sells one. I am using his fiber optic sight on my Kimber.
  6. I use Grams 4mm pads and get 20 rounds in all of them, have not had any trouble. I like the U pin, simple to tear down and very secure when re-attached.
  7. I would damn sure buy another one! Maybe I should have said, I will buy another one!
  8. It does not matter to me, let me know the when and where & I'll be there if at all possible.
  9. Same thing in our club. We have our dedicated wheelgunners, but most of us have a revolver and love to make that cylinder smoke once in awhile. I agree!
  10. Kimel- Agreed! The reason Bob's post eased my mind is because I received a call from him.
  11. redmist- Very Sorry to hear about your gun. THAT SUCKS!! Brazos- Hey Bob thank you for easing my crazy mind, I'll sleep better tonight.
  12. I am currently classified in two= Limited 10, and Revolver. A classification in Limited is not far away!
  13. I have been using the tape on my glasses for about 6 months. When I am dry-firing I take off the taped glasses for half of the session. Lately I have been getting a lot better seeing a clear sight sight picture with both eyes open without the tape. The only reason I have been playing with this is that it seems when I am closing one eye and my face muscles tighten up I feel like the rest of my body begins to tighten up also.
  14. My favorite thing about shooting a wheelgun has to be coming up with an effective game plan on a complex field course and then having it all fall into place.
  15. Beven- Thanks! The silicone that I seen being applied to ammo was done by using a saturated rag. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know that much about it.
  16. What kind of lube to you prefer? The guys I have seen are spraying STP silicone spray inside the mag tube and coating all of their rounds with it before loading the mags.
  17. I noticed that my hand was getting thumped a bit right in the web area of my strong hand, after a slight change in the way that I gripped the gun I have not had much trouble since. Keep in mind that I am a long way from being good enough with a wheelgun to offer too much advice. I use the factory wood grips that came on my 25-2. They feel a lot better to me than some of the smaller ones I have tried. They are still smooth like the Miculek, but not as pretty. A guy in our club makes some grips for his Smith revolvers that feel great and look really good too!
  18. Nice Steelie! Sounds like a very good day compared to some of the steelhead trips that I go on. You know the ones when you hook one and don't land any. What part of the country were you fishing in? (I know better than to ask any more details than that!)
  19. I wonder if he actually went and payed for it.
