kimmbeckwith
The way it has been explained to me is the sights have to meet the original design of the pistol. My M & P has sights made by Dawson from S&W so they can be change as long as they meet the same specifications. The best way to know is to have a Bianchi Ref. tell you there at Columbia. I did that two years ago to make sure. I know that doesn't help for next year, but that is the only way you will know for sure.
gm iprod
I believe, like IPSC, if the sights fit into the current slide cut, and do over hang the rear or look like the sears tower you are generally in. But a picture to the rules committee would be useful. Plus as Kim, says get them in front of a referee, I suggest at a regional well before the Cup. PPGMD
Yes dawsons are definitely legal. its what i use on all of my glocks to shoot Bianchi production? I asked about that at last years cup. Damien said that as long as it uses the factory dove tails it is allowed. You can't modify the slide to put on adjustable sights.

Chuck Anderson
I used them on my 34 the first year I shot Production (3-4 years ago?) Switched to Open and Metallic the next year. Didn't have any issues from the officials.
