kneelingatlas
My weak hand index finger tends to find its way to the front of the trigger guard.
jayjay1
"...tends to find..." Does that mean you do shoot with your weak hand index at the front of the trigger guard, or you don´t?

prk
I saw that Eric shoots like that with his grip - and when I first started shooting competitively that's how I shot. But 99% or more of the shooters will tell you that it's best to wrap as much of your weak hand around your strong hand and get as much of the palm of your weak hand on the grip - in one of Shannon Smith's vid's he breaks down the grip pretty well , actually using the fingers from your strong hand as kind of a "wall" or leverage point. kneelingatlas
Maybe it's because I have a bigish hand, but the rest of my grip doest really change when I loop the trigger guard, I just get my weak hand higher on the pistol.
Silver_Surfer
My weak hand index finger tends to find its way to the front of the trigger guard. Also shoot like that. I am able to get a higher grip with my strong hand.
