Really? If I had the perspective of the person video-taping (notice I didn't say "make the call from the video evidence) I would DQ that shooter. No doubt about it. I went back and watched it full screen, and based on the video, I agree. Assuming the audio and video are in sync, it looks like he was seating the mag when the gun went off. Even if he were done reloading, I don't see how the round didn't go over the berm. Having said that, there were 2 RO's watching him closely when it occurred. Either they were start struck by the super squad, or there is something they saw that we can't on the video. (I'm not sure what that would be, but I'm giving them and the shooter the benefit of the doubt.) That's fair. Just to pile on though, it sure looks like the round went off before the new mag was seated considering he had to rack the slide to chamber the next round.
