ERIC
I purchased a used G34 and noticed some material was taken off under the trigger guard to allow for a higher grip. Not a lot was removed and I didn't even notice it when I first looked over the gun. Is this production legal? I checked the rule book but only found something regarding revolver grips. sperman
Not legal. Appendix D4 Item 22 lists modifications specifically prohibited. 22.2 Grips – any addition or removal of material which changes the factory profile or adds function such as beavertail or thumb rest. vluc
Too quick for me sperman! E5 shows you what can be addressed, and the trigger guard is not on it. Edited September 12, 2013 by vluc

GrumpyOne
Looks like you got the base of a 9mm open gun or a limited minor gun...
ERIC
The guy that sold it to me was the second owner and got it as part of a trade but he didn't even know it was modified. The guy doesn't shoot competitively and was cool about taking it back. It's too bad, it was a good price. Thanks again.
