G17 Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 Hi there, my name is Chris and i'm from Daytona Beach, FL. I was speaking with the match director of one of the USPSA matches in my area. He was basically giving me the scoop on what to expect, what to bring, etc etc so i can be prepared and have a better experience for my first match. He recommended this forum and said i can get a lot of good information on here. So here i am. I look forward to browsing the forums and learning as much from everyone as i can. I'm relatively new to the sport. I haven't done my first match yet but i have been shooting for the last year and go to the range at least twice a week. I shoot Glock pistols. My first pistol was a Glock, i'v shot a variety of manufacturers since then but still find myself going back. Well, that's about it. Good to be here, hope to learn a lot. I'm sorry, i didn't see any replies to this thread after the first couple days so i forgot to check. I mainly shoot at a little indoor range in holly hill called "Hot shot". I love it there, i know everyone well and it's kind of like my hang out. I haven't been shooting long, but i'v been going there since day 1 and they taught me a lot. Strickland is closed for renovations i believe, and i haven't become a member of Vol gun and hunt club yet, but i will soon.
