Franco79
Mods, please move this topic if need be. Ok gents! The man cave is coming along and now its time to roll in the safe. I have a Liberty Franklin and it will be bolted to the floor in the garage. Besides using the 4 factory holes in each corner of the safe, has anyone drilled extra holes in the back of the safe to bolt it to a wall as well? StraightUp_OG
Mine weights 900lbs empty and it is packed full so I just used the 4 holes. Unless someone is highly motivated it is staying where it is. Congrats on the man cave! Edited August 4, 2013 by StraightUp_OG
outerlimits
Four on the floor is all you need.
birdzman
If you have four lags into anchors in a concrete garage floor you should be fine.

D.Hayden
Should there be anything between the safe and the concrete? Some sort of moisture barrier, etc?
mpk1996
make sure to run the dehumidifier rod. other than that, a layer below would only help from not scratching the bottom when moving it there. i would def not try and add more bolts. the 4 on the floor should be enough, plus i think that drilling any more might compromise the fire integrity of the safe. enjoy the cave and the sweet safe
