tortuga
So the last step in the CZ75SA/TS Hybrid is to get rid of the coating on the bottom of the slide. Otherwise this thing is sweet. With Hogue grips it feels just like a TS, and the combo of a shadow hammer and a CGW sear makes for a great trigger. As the pic shows it is pretty ugly on the bottom of the slide, I think it is affecting function. I don't want this rubbing on the bullet nose or the hammer, every other CZ I have has a polished finish at this point. Can't quite figure out how to get after it with tools and still keep the surface true, and I don't have a blast cabinet setup. Any ideas? kneelingatlas
That's funny! Maybe when I was a bachelor renting rooms, but now that I'm soon to be a father of three my stripper days are long gone.

blind bat
Atlas: Mazel Tov! No wonder you have so many CZs. You are in the process of producing your own shooting team. I've never worked with Cerekote but my first thought was 600-1000 grit wet/dry sand paper. My slide was coated with Metaloy's "Tactikote" finish last fall. I didn't bother removing the paint on the area you highlighted but my slide's finish is very smooth.
