Pro Grip sticky? it dries in about 10 seconds and isn't sticky at all.

jm sorry sombody at the range gave me what I assumed was pro grip, now Im not sure what it was but it was sticky.

Pro Grip is good, but pricey for what you get. Take some climbers chalk, ground up fine and 90% rubbing alcohol. 2 parts chalk, 1 part alcohol. Works better than Pro Grip. For the price of 2 bottles of Pro Grip I bought enough chalk and alcohol for years.

I like to use dirt from the range. I would like a product that drys your hands but does not make your hands stick to the gun.

I have never found any pre-cut for the M9. I have tried cutting regular 3M anti-skid tape on the front and backstrap. It works ok if you secure it under the grip panels. It stays on about half a tour length in the desert.

I also cut a chunk of bicycle inner tube to slide over the grip. Works ok if you punch a few holes in it. I am pretty sure that isnt going to be legal in a leg match.
