OPENB
I just bought a stripped M&P9 Pro slide. I have a barrel & a guide rod/recoil spring. What other bits & pieces do I need to finish it out? I want to use an Apex USB, & Dawson sights, but factory parts are fine for everything else. bigfish
extractor & spring, extractor roll pin, striker assy, there's a plastic guide in the striker tunnel, striker block and spring, and the backing plate behind the striker.
bigfish
there is also a little metal plate that sits on top of the striker block spring under the rear sight. I think the new ones are plastic
partyboy424
bigfish nailed it. The striker block and spring is the same as the Apex USB kit though. The only thing I would recommend, get a wooden dowel the same size as the striker channel to put in the striker channel liner. I didn't for the first one and that was just a SOB to get in. I am looking for either a stripped M&P 9 or CORE slide?
JupiterAdam
I am also interested in sourcing a 9mm Pro slide. I would prefer to shoot 9mm in Action Steel and .40 during USPSA events . Thanks, Adam.

JupiterAdam
Was the slide you bought a 5 or a 4.25 inch? Thanks.
Nemo
Sorry I caught this so late. Going by memory to cmplete your slide you'll need: Barrel Front sight Rear sight Extractor Extractor Spring Extractor Coil Pin Guide rod Recoil spring Striker Assembly Striker Channel Liner Striker Block Plunger Striker Block Spring Striker Plunger Spacer Slide End Cap May be missing something but not much. datsthat
Does the striker assymble go inside the Striker Channel Liner? I am putting together a stripped slide and have watched numerous vids on youtube but none of them show a Striker Channel Liner?
Nemo
The striker channel liner is a plastic cylinder that fits very snug inside the slide. The striker travels inside.http://www.speedshooterspecialties.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=0&products_id=1012
