shuter
Are 2 spare mags enough, generally? 52 total rounds? Or do I need to count on having to put a 3rd pistol pouch on my belt? Thanks
Alaskapopo
Generally 2 spare mags are enough. I am talking extended Dawson or Arredondo 22 round mags however so thats 67 rounds. You should get some extensions for Dawson or Arredondo.
shuter
Thanks. I'm a big Dawson fan, so I think I'll get some from them. Appreciate your advice.

Boxer1
I love the Dawsons easy to remove with no tools and strong. I run 3 mags on a high round count stage just incase you have an almost full mag the bites the dust or gets dropped by accident.
dmd6x
What are the differences between the Dawsons and the Arredondos? For 17 rnd 9 mm Glock mags, what do you guys like better? I have 4 mags I've been looking at extensions for...
EkuJustice
I have run both and they are comparable. If I were buying extensions noemi would go taran tactical
Lead-Head
Check out Tarans Tactical bas pads. I have heard they allow 23 rds w/o seating problems. Plus they look cool an are about the same price as arredondo. they are on my wish list. Edited August 3, 2013 by Lead-Head
Onagoth
I have three extended mags, but three pistol pouches. Usually, the third is for a stock mag if I ever need it. I get 22 rounds in my extended mags so I really almost never need the third stock mag unless it is a very high round count stage. I always have an extra mag on me beyond what I need though, just in case of a jam or malfunction
