Julien Boit
Eric G told me he just won the match and Martin Kamenicek placed 6th. Hope Uncle Vinny will come with the "real final" results. And He will maybe tell us where the next EC will take place
Eye Cutter
Now the results of the world shoot will really be interesting to see next year! Vince, do you know what the top 10 shooters in Production were using? Salamat!
Vince Pinto
Hi guys, OK, here's some answers to your questions: 1. Eric Grauffel won Open Division, and Errol "ET" Thomas of Australia placed 2nd (at only 2.5% behind), while Stephen Hinojales of the Philippines came 3rd (but I forget the margin due to the baaaaad influence of the Bintang Beer girls). 2. Adam Tyc, a dynamic and amiable 18 year old from the Czech Republic won Production Division (shooting one of the new CZ pistols), and Angus Hobdell (shooting the same model gun) placed 2nd (but he was 9% behind). 3. The Euro 2007 will be held in the Slovak Republic and the AustralAsian 2007 will be held in Thailand. 4. Did I mention the Bintang Beer Girls? More information to follow early next week (possibly sooner).

Vince Pinto
Hi folks, You can download a set of Handgun Divisional results in PDF format (110kb) here. Other things which occurred in Bali were: General Assembly: 1. Two Regions (IPSC Bulgaria & IPSC Georgia) were elevated from Provisional status to Full Member status. 2. Six Regions (IPSC Bosnia-Herzegovina, IPSC Estonia, IPSC Latvia, IPSC Malta, IPSC Montenegro & IPSC Suriname) were ratified and welcomed as Provisional Regions. 3. The 2007 European Handgun Championships will be hosted by IPSC Slovak Republic, the 2007 AustralAsian Handgun Championships will be hosted by IPSC Thailand and the first IPSC World Rifle Championship will be hosted by IPSC Denmark in 2006. 4. IPSC Indonesia confirmed they intend to bid to host WSXV in 2008. The only other rumoured (but as yet unconfirmed) candidate is IPSC Czech Republic. Other Events: 5. The Rules Workshop (which included a free lunch for all participants, generously provided by our wonderful Indonesian hosts), was attended by +40 people, and it was very productive. 6. The Rules Committee also had a very productive meeting, and a set of official rules interpretations will be issued shortly, and a number of other items will be deferred until the 2005 General Assembly. 7. The Production Division Committee met and agreed on some important "simplifying" changes to Production Division, and further details will be announced once we've received feedback from member Regions. 8. The IROA Executive Committee had a series of meetings, and I expect a number of changes in respect of membership criteria will be announced in the near future. 9. Victor Ferrero, Match Director of WSXIV in Ecuador next year, handed out some fliers, and I'll post a link to a downloadable version in the World Shoot thread as soon as I've scanned it. I think that covers everything .......

Vince Pinto
Neil old son, My apologies for failing to provide the Shotgun results earlier, but they're now available here (29Kb PDF). And congratulations on your result - not too shabby for an old flatulent And a "Well Done" to BE Forum regular Jerome Poiret, who is currently lost somewhere in Hong Kong .... Skywalker
My best compliments to forum members Neil Beverley and Jerome Poiret for winning their respective divisions. WAY TO GUYS!!!! Neil Beverley
My best compliments to forum members Neil Beverley and Jerome Poiret for winning their respective divisions.WAY TO GUYS!!!! Now, Neil, I have to ask: was Luciano really the SG match RM ????? No! Luciano wasn't the RM, Myro was. Luciano ran a stage on the Thursday. Perhaps the result could have been different for me but my gun broke on the 3rd stage out of 16. I then had to continue the match with a borrowed gun which didn’t feel, handle or shoot the same. As a result I picked up a 10 point penalty on the very first stage I shot with the borrowed gun and cut myself quite badly on it towards the end of the first day (2 day match). I was certainly off my normal pace. I ended up just 6 points behind the winner. On the other hand I'm taking nothing away from Narongsak who won because he was cleary capable of some quality shooting. I liked this photograph, it looks like I meant it! Skywalker
Neil, yes, my apologies, in the heat of the moment I misunderstood your 6 match points gap from the division winner, and put you in first place. You must anyway have shot a hell of a match if you managed to score 2nd overall with a borrowed shotgun... I thought Luciano had been RM of the SG match, since I saw, in the standings posted by Vince, his name labelled as "RM Luciano Corvetti"...but next time we'll meet I'll have to tell you a few nice anecdotes on Luciano's "creativity"... Great photo, indeed. Make it a giant poster on IPSC shooting safety for all those screaming we're a bunch of wild cowboys...

Neil Beverley
Well jerome did some good job for a first timer !Well done buddy As I think I have said earlier, Jerome is a real nice guy. He shot an excellent match and even more significantly had a great time in the process. I've got some more pictures, including some of Jerome, and I'll post them later in the Gallery. Anyone else who was there as well can add to my little collection or start their own. For the record there were 19 Regions represented in the shotgun match. I'm sure we will see a steady rise in the frequency and attendance at IPSC Shotgun matches.
Vince Pinto
I thought Luciano had been RM of the SG match, since I saw, in the standings posted by Vince, his name labelled as "RM Luciano Corvetti" Hmmm. I have no idea what "RM" means on the results page ......... perhaps "Really Macho"?

Yoda
I met many Brianenos.com people at there too. Hi Ray, it was good seeing you in Bali. It is always nice to know the real life person behind the name on a forum like this. Bali was an incredible experience, the hospitality was fantastic. Always smiling faces, wherever you go. I'm really looking forward to coming back to your part of the world - maybe AustralAsian 2007 in Thailand or Worldshoot 2008 in Bali??
Ray Chonlatid
Yes, Yoda. You're always welcome in Thailand. Spook, I ever met them in CZ Extreme level3 and Thai National level3 before. The bad thing that I work in match days. I could not see these wheelgunners' squad shooting, during 24 stages. Anyhow, they promise to me that they will come next AA2007 in my country again ! I hope you and Yoda also here that time.
