seanc
Reuel, have you ever worked a match on either a local or sanctioned match for any major action pistol discipline (IDPA, ICORE, USPSA/IPSC, Steel Challenge, NRA Action Pistol)? The scores don't magically spit out in 20 minutes. I'd be worried if my scores were spat out that fast. Cd662, it appears you haven't shot a match where they utilize Practiscore yet. I worry about electronic scoring a little, I like having the paper to review for errors. I have shot some matches that were scored with palm and I always feel rushed to sign off without getting to really review what was entered. I know it's my responsibility and all, just how I feel about it.
jhgtyre
I have shot matches scored by the Palm scoring software and I have not been too impressed. Practiscore LOOKS better but I haven't personally tried it out yet. Now, back on topic, I would like to see a better scoring system for ICORE and I am really happy that a long time ICORE guy like Bubber is working on it. -ld
reuel_f_emery
TO reply to the query have I ever worked matches?. ...YES...USPSA nationals, area matches...etc, etc.. and I do run our local club USPSA style matches The hardest part is relying on a complicated scoring system and finding someone willing and able to perform all the stats work. We went to a simple time added method akin to ICORE... Reuel
