EkuJustice
147 isn't a good bullet weight for open. In open 124 121 and 115 are the way to go as they need more powder which means more gas to work the comp
RideHardStayHard
So I should buy new mags and don't try to fit the bullet in a .38S mag. Then I can shoot what ever weight you mentioned.
EkuJustice
Really no need to buy new sti mags if you have 38 mags. The difference in 9mm and 38 mags is the 9mm mags have a spacer and use 9mm followers. The sti factory spacers are plastic but most people run the hardy metal spacers. It's easy to swap the parts in to make 9mm mags. I run my 9major with the spacer at 1.17 oal and it runs like a top. Bullets I have loads for both 115 and 124 so if bullets become hard to find I have others I can use. For me at least the 115 shoots a little flatter but the 124 is a little softer. Both work the comp well though
Cavy
The one drawback I find for 9 I mentioned in my first post. I do think it's recoil impulse is a little more harsh, snappy, cracky. The word you are looking for is "Snarky"
RideHardStayHard
Did not know about the spacers I will look them up tonight. Thank you on that one.
