VM forearm and quad load

Loading with the weak hand on the quad load method and found that when loading the first set of 2 the lead round of the second set of 2 hits the forearm. How far can I cut it back? Anybody got pics of theirs done that way?

Rob,

How is that lifter for weak hand loading? I cut my loading port about that far and I have a huge gap between the shell and the lifter, and I was curious if the c-rums would bring the lifter far enough forward to make it worthwhile or am I going to need to get it extended even more.

Looks good by the way

Here's what I did:

Weak hand loading is smooth as silk. I'd get that lifter welded up by C-Rums P.D.Q. They also extend it so there is little chance catching your thumb.
