mbrody
First question: What factory brands and bullet weights are reliable for practice and general USPSA shooting events in 9mm Shadows? I currently use 124gr Federal white box, but will eventually run out and can buy other brands at 115gr weights locally, such as Remington. Pickins are slim! Question two: For a Steel Match, am I better off shooting 124gr or 147gr? 124 gr is 1120 fps/345 ft lbs 147gr is 1000fps/301 ft lbs Thanks in advance! Carnifex
Federal 147gr American Eagle is incredibly accurate in my Shadow. Too bad I can't find any...

G34 CORDY
Forgot to note that I have almost used every kind of 9mm out there in my Shadow without one malfunction.
MarkMcArthur
I use a lot of the academy brand stuff. Steel and brass and it works great!!
Sthrngnr
WWB 115's worked great for me when I didn't reload.
MstngLX50
I haven't found anything that was unreliable, or wasn't accurate enough in CZs. Egyptian surplus maybe but anything from Remington, Federal, Blazer, even Tula all worked great. As to your question about 124 vs 147, I'd go with the 124 at 1120. Less recoil. gennaro
Even with factory ammunition, you still need to look at the rounds. I will shoot WWB , very reliable, but I did find a round that was seated crooked on the case. So a quick inspection sometimes might save you a headache later on. Shoot what you feel comfortable with, and what the gun like to eat too. LOL. Enjoy.
Stician
Magtech 115gr RN is also very reliable due to the pointy nose
