Rye
Can I have my cz 75 milled for bomar cut? Thanks!
CZinSC
Can it be done? Yes. is it still legal for production? Yes. Check with Sperman on the forum. He did it to his 75 and it looks great.

ddpenn
Can you clarify the issue with production. Is this understanding correct: USPSA Production - Slide Cut is Legal IPSC Production - Slide Cut NOT Legal Have you considered a HAJO as an alternative to cutting the slide. I am really interested in getting one. Edited February 21, 2013 by ddpenn
Rye
Actually I'm just gonna ask my gunsmith to fit the bomar to my slide. It looks like there's plenty of meat on the slide to do it.
Rye
Looks like hajo only fits shadow. It looks good though and probably easier to fit
Adam B
Matt Cheely did one for me about 4-5 years ago, it was very nice, just like all of Matt's work!
All-Gator
The only problem is that the hammer will foul the sight blade. So, you have to mill off some of the top of the hammer...or mount the Bomar type sight higher than normal. Or notch the sight blade. At least this is true of the competition hammers. Not sure about OEM hammers. A=G

Andreas
FWIW, I ordered my SP-01 from CZ Custom with the HAJO TAC rear. Multiple failures of the rear blade on LPA and Bo-Mar adjustable sights has made me not trust them. The HAJO looks much more solid since it's hinged in the front with no fragile windage-adjustable blade to break. It gives a sight picture that's just as good as a Bo-Mar. No regrets. sperman
This is Matt's work. You can weld up the slide first, and then the fit will look better. I'm not saying the above doesn't work, but IMO, the look is less than ideal.
