Are Taran Tactical Base pads legal for Production?

OK, dumb question time.

Is the goal of adding these base pads just to add weight to the gun? Because, remember, in Production there's a magazine load limit of 10 rounds.

I've added them for two reasons.

1. They make it easier for the magazine to drop during stages.

2. I also use this pistol for 3 Gun, so the increased capacity helps during those matches.

To add weight for smooth dropout, and also give you some more area to grip when you're drawing the mags from your belt.

They also make it real easy to take your mag apart. Glock mags are a pia to disassemble.

Also better to seat mag in gun. I'll be ordering 6 of them shortly.
