AlamoShooter
Some times a thought jumps out of my head. So that old question about the tree and the deep forest. If you attend a shooting event and the cameras don't come out to show it on TV , Is it any less of a match? maybe Not as effective for the advertisers. but what I saw of the adds, they were selling to the Choir any way. A45100
Good point but I think we were finally getting to a point where the TV cameras were helping us sell the sport to the public and it helped attract new shooters. I RO'd the last two USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals and I was amazed at the number of shooters who came to the line and informed me this was their first 3-Gun match, not their first nationals, not even their first major match. This was their first match period. I don't remember ever hearing that at the Multi-Gun Nationals prior to 3-Gun Nation.
toothguy
Or as my wife would say, if a man speaks in the forest and no one hears him, is he still wrong?

BritinUSA
While its true to say that we wouldn't get the same number of viewers as television we still have the option to provide match coverage via the internet.
