John Baier
Phoenix and Limited40, I'll be thinking about you guys freezing your butts off up in the great white North, while I'm sitting at the side of the pool relaxing after running shooters sipping a Pina Colada
phoenix
running shooters sipping a Pina Colada I'm thinking there must be a rule against that. Drugs and intoxicating substances on the range.
John Baier
I'm thinking it just applies to the shooters
Thomas Moore
are there any stages posted for the 2005 fl open?
RKooi
If this year is like the past several (maybe all), there are no posted stage diagrams.
Mickster
Limited40, During the past years it kind of went like this. You get there the day before if possible and check out all the stages. RO's don't like it if you walk out onto the stage even if nobody is around and will shooo you back if you're spotted. The day of the match and prior to starting the stage you will get 5 minutes with your squad, right after the stage briefing, to walk thru and scope it out in detail. Once the shooting starts the on-deck shooter gets about a minute (or however long it takes to score and paste) to walk it one more time and make any adjustments. Somewher during all this you'll probably notice there are no "shooting boxes" and a distinct lack of no-shoots. There are also no upper A/B zones to luckily catch that stray bullet. At least, that's how it's been in the past. So how hard can it be? Good luck and have some fun!
Jon Merricks
You get there the day before if possible and check out all the stages. RO's don't like it if you walk out onto the stage even if nobody is around and will shooo you back if you're spotted. Don't forget that there is a new "anti competitor" rule that covers this. You need to get permission from MD or RO.
