lablover
My load 3.8 titegroup cci small pistol primer 124 gr berrys RN I shot a few hundred with no issue, the Wife tries and seems every third shot stove pipes. I told her she was limp wristing but when she used factory ammo, no issue. Is this load too light? It was being shot out of a glock
NicVerAZ
What is your OAL? It will determine PF and tell if its too short or too long. The glock will cycle if it has enough power and the ammo is in reasonable specs. For that load you should be at around 1.150"

You really want her to hang onto that tightly? She might break it..... But, it's the right answer...

Scootertheshooter
My wife had the same problem. I tied a Coach bag with a 50% off tag on it , she never had a fte again. Or it could have been the load was on the edge, just goose it up a bit and she should be fine. Seriously it worked for my wife but it was an STI instead of a Glock

Justsomeguy
I have a .40 XDM 5.25 which I shot for over 5000rnds with a perfect record of reliability... until my wife shot it! Same thing. She got a stovepipe on her first mag. I told her she was limpwristing with the fairly stout loads and she did ok for a couple more mags. Then she got tired and did it again. I'm keeping both the gun and my wife, but I'm tuning up a 9mm for her to use so we will both be happier. She's a keeper too as I just finished setting up and loading 500rnds on my third press she thought I should have... another Dillon 650, this one set up for 9mm. Now I can continue my experiments and she and I will both benefit. God I love that woman! Oh wait... they were "production loads" in the .40. Hmmm... Oh well, I got a new press and stuff to experiment with. Edited September 18, 2012 by Justsomeguy
sdm74
The softer load will give more problems if there is any limp wristing. Where as factory is more forgiving in operating the gun, since its hotter.
