pops1982
When working up a load is it a good idea to develop a load that allows the OAL to be as long as possible thereby putting the tip of the bullet as close to the rifling without actually touching it? Of course fitting in the magazine and cycling without problems will factor in.
superdude
Generally, yes. Longer rounds tend to feed better, though there are always exceptions.
Hi-Power Jack
Pops, if it runs in your gun, it's good. I've found that in my gun, a 1.12" is more accurate, but I need 1.135" to feed well, so I give up a little accuracy for the functioning.
