The first Saturday of this month I shot my first USPSA match with a borrowed limited gun. Then the next Saturday I shot my first steel challenge with my stock 1911 and my Ruger Mark III with a red dot. I was hooked, so about a week ago I talked to Bob Carver and ordered a Glock 17 made just the way I want it for open class. At my age, my eyes just don't focus well enough on that front sight to do well in any other class. I don't shoot well, but I sure enjoy it. I've got the whole works coming. Belt, holster, mag holders, extra mags, mag extensions, etc. Really getting excited about all of this. I will post pictures when I get the gun in about 3 weeks.
