AultGM
I have an opportunity to buy a like new 625 with 5 1/4" Barrel (contoured like the newer 627 .357's), but can't seem to find any info about this particular model ... The owner claims it came from the Performance Center but I can't find info to verify it ... It must have been tuned by a great revolver tech, because the action is very slick ... The guy wants $800.00 Firm which doesn't sound out of line since the new ones (4") cost that much. Any info on this Model is appreciated.
Wideload
The barrel length and contour fits the description of a PC gun. If the action is fantastic, ask the seller who did the work. Does it also come with a PC case?
Tom Mainus
That is a PC 625. It also has a shortened cylinder. Mine came with a greenish color JM grips. Is it any better than a regular 625 with a 5" barrel? Probably not. But those are getting hard to find as well. For 800 I would grab it. AultGM
Well, here is the PC625 5 1/4" I picked up recently, along with a NIB 627-0 from the same guy. I bought them both for $1500.00 The 625 came in the Aluminum PC Case with everything and is only test-fired. Now, I gotta load a bunch of .45 boolits ! It is a PC version with a shortened cylinder thus the slightly longer barrel. Mine came with a PC aluminum case and gray-green grips. For $800 I would not hesitate a minute before purchasing it.
