Browtine
How does the HiViz comp sight attach to the rib? I have a magnetic fiber optic on my M1 right now and want to get a lower profile, permanently attached sight. There is no mention of thread size in the Brownells catalog or HiViz site so was wondering how the sight is attached?

It attaches with a screw...I can't remember if it comes with a variety pack with one that fits the factory bead threads or not...I had my vent rib drilled and tapped after cutting the barrel down. You just unscrew the original bead and use the proper screw. Brownells catalog has the common threads by manufacturer.

benny hill
It will move back and forth after awhile. We drill rib and install a pin that goes through rib and hole in bottom of sight.
