I just got into long range shooting about a month ago and bought a sfp Viper PST 4-16x50. For the money, it's a great scope. The glass is very clear out to 1200yds and it tracks perfectly. This morning we were dialing as fast as we could between targets at 350, 550 and 700 and it was dead on every time. I'm still very new to this game, but the only thing I'd change on it would be the turrets, I'd like to get 10mils per turn instead of 5. I've also compared it side by side to a Premier and the Premier was definitely better, but I don't think it was 2K better.

I shot at 1150 this weekend with that exact load in a 20" bolt gun. Needed 16 mils to get there.

Will the QLS 22 receiver plate mount directly to the ELS belt or does it need an adapter of some sort? I thought I read somewhere that the QLS holes were different from the ELS hole spacing. Also, does anyone know if a QLS 19 locking fork will mount directly to a Bladetech DOH Holster without any mods?

Mark, Can I assume the stage 50/50 is on a 50 yard bay? I'm trying to figure out how far the two long popper shots are with the pistol.

How does the HiViz comp sight attach to the rib? I have a magnetic fiber optic on my M1 right now and want to get a lower profile, permanently attached sight. There is no mention of thread size in the Brownells catalog or HiViz site so was wondering how the sight is attached?

I size and trim with the Dillon trimmer on my RCBS Rockchucker then they go into the tumbler. Finish on the 550 with station 1 neck sizing and depriming.

I figured it out. I had just put on a DMW quick release bar on my bolt release button and it was putting just enough pressure on the button to keep the carrier release from disengaging when there was some pressure in the mag tube. I bent it out a bit and everything seems to working fine now.

Sweet. I can survive indefinitely on burgers, BBQ and Mexican. Thanks!
