speedrrracer
I've seen blue magazines for the XD, but the Google & I haven't been able to find any for my XDm 5.25 -- anyone have a link? I need a lotta practice with my reloads, so they get dropped a lot...either a blue mag or slam pads if all else fails. Thanks!
Marv Z
Pistolgear makes slam pads in .250 and .375, at pistolgear.com. I use the .250 ones and when I practice stand on a thin rug. No problems so far.
jdphotoguy
You can get a laundry basket or two and stick a pillow or other soft material in there and either stand over the basket and do your reloads or position the basket(s) around so you can do reloads on the move. speedrrracer
Thanks, guys -- the slam pads have been ordered, and I've been using various floor-based cushioning systems ...just wondering if there were practice mags out yet.
Marv Z
I've never seen anything for a XDM.
PKT1106
IIRC, Travis Tomaise stands on his bed to practice reloads.
gunshrink
Another vote for the over the bed technique. I have back problems so bending over on any service gets tough at times. With the bed, the mag is within reach, on a soft surface and works out well, and heck, if you practice long and hard you can easily take a nap..... You'd have to get her a creeper, too, so you can practice your reloads on the move
dmwphoto
I now have the urge to go practice my reloads....
dsb45acp
Brownells sells CRTC practice mags. I don't know if they have them for the XDM but I do know they'd be cheaper then the creeper and um... accessory...above!
