Scooter
Okay, first I went through the carbon fiber phase. Now I'm going through the clear/translucent phase. I guess I have too much time on my hand. Actually I did the clear grips at work using company time and getting paid for it. I don't think my boss would be too happy though. Oh I forgot I was using his materials. Garfield
If I used company time & material to fancy up my gun, it would come with a Network & Systems Management System .

ogiebb
the clear grips might look bad ass if the gun was hardchromed bright...
SiG Lady
Yes, way too much time on your hands. Damn' creative results, though. The carbon grips are really unique looking. If anyone's ever had the pleasure of a clear plastic squirt gun (any color) you'll appreciate the clear plastic grips.
kdj
Very nice. I'm also more impressed with the Carbon Fibre grips though. If you're convinced about the clear ones, send me the others and I'll put them on my P7 Kevin
eric nielsen
The carbon fiber is great. I drool at the sight of P7's anyway. Wish I had one.

Scooter
How about the iMac version? It's swirls in clear and blue. Can't quite see the clear. I also did one in clear, blue, and red. I'll see how that turns out once it's cured.

Zak Smith
I am really digging those P7 grips. What is involved in fabbing a set? -z
Scooter
One, you will need an original P7 grip. Two, get some RTV silicon rubber and a vacuum pump/chamber to deaerate the silicon rubber. This is to make the mold. Three, you will need some type of clear resin and pigment, I'm using a polyurethane resin and I'm also curing it under pressure to reduce porosity.
