guard donkey
Got the CR Versa Pouches and they work great for the Shadow mags, but no good for TS mags. I can put the Glock insert in the pouch and they fit, but pretty loose and I'm worried about leaving a trail of mags while moving through a stage. Any tips or tricks? Neomet
Use the STI insert and crank the adjustment knob down. Hard.
Skydiver
Or put a couple of washers behind the insert.
SDM
I use the Glock insert with a washer behind it. Edited January 19, 2012 by SDM
Neomet
What size washer? I may give the the glock inserts a try.
SDM
I'm not sure about the thickness. The ones I used were likely 3/8" or 7/16" hole diameter. Just some random ones I had. I'll try to remember to get them measured.
Walküre
Use the STI insert and crank the adjustment knob down. Hard. This is what I've always done, and never had any issues. I didn't find the fit to be off when I first got them either. The only change I've made since is that to run Tanfo mags in the same pouches, I added a layer of cork backing to the inserts. (Tanfo mags are slightly thinner than TS mags.) This allows me to run both platforms out of the same rig, just backing off the tension more for the CZ. SDM
What size washer? I may give the the glock inserts a try. I measured the washers I used. They are 1/4" washers and they measure around .077". Edited January 23, 2012 by SDM
smoothdraw
Yeah i put one of these washers behind my STI insert and viola my CR Speed pouches are now working for TS mags. I Prefer the STI insert than the glock insert.
asimonp79
I had a problem too The pouch was too large and the magazine waz going back and forward So I ended up by inserting "another insert" between pouch and the glock insert this is the first ( red) pouch of the rig (and it has DAA magnet attached) http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/708/firstpouchandmagnet.jpg/ The issue with mag movement also solved by glueing to the back of the pouch with another plastic peace. Thus the mag sits tight in. This is the second mag pouch with magazine TS 40 in http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/41/secondry.jpg/ You will notice that the 3-rd pouch doesn't have any "back plastic addings" and the 4-th pouch is black
