Run n Gun
The $44 price was a function of relatively high manufacturing costs beingmarked up thru both distributor and dealer channels. I changed the marketing approach to shooter direct sales and pricing to bring the ultimate price down. Price is now $28.95 which solves the price issue. We just put up new info on our trippresearch.com website yesterday. Go check it out. Give me a call and let's get you some mags. At quantity 6, the price is $26.95 each. Give me a call at 1 432 837 9445. Thanks. Regards, Virgil The above was part of a return email from Virgil Tripp so now you know about the new mag pricing. As per the email I went to his site and lo and behold, it looks like ol’ Virgil’s back in the chroming business!!! I’ve been a regular visitor to his site and he’d remove ALL of the chroming stuff except some technical information but now it's back! www.trippresearch.com Ed

Flexmoney
That is great to hear. I was talking with a shooter that is getting an Open gun built, and he said that the smith was using Tripp for chrome work...I thought that he might just be working for the smiths only? Tokarev
Virgil built my Limited gun and I have him putting a single stack IDPA gun together right now. His return time is great, his prices are sane, and he's a nice guy. What more can you ask from in a gunsmith? His quality ain't too bad, either! Rob Bagnato
Sent two guns for chrome to Tripp. Nicely done he turned them around quickly. I wouldn't have known he was back in business if it wasn't for this forum. Thanks for the FYI. (Edited my typo)
