BDH
Almost before the wreckage of Columbia hit the ground, there were scumbags trying to make money off the disaster on Ebay. I guess I would be willing to spend money to gain a piece of the shuttle, but only to return it to the families of the crew and to NASA.... Making money on death is wrong....... kimel
Amen Brother! Kinda almost makes one hope that these scumbags do pick up a toxic bit and they get nice and sick. But, wishing harm upon someone else is bad for one's karma. I am sure that they will get everything that they deserve. EBay certainly has become the cesspool of humanity. shaughn leayme
Don't worry, NASA is very particular about this stuff and they go looking with a big stick whenever this stuff happens. From what I have heared the lawyers are probably beating a path to this scum's door as we speak. Really couldn't happen to better people, in my opinion. SiG Lady
Reports already indicate some people have not only touched and picked up this stuff but HAVE suffered contamination as a result.
BSeevers
Contamination. The bad thing about the US is these people will probably sue NASA (deep pockets) and get million dollar settlements.
BDH
Well, I hadn't thought about that, but unfortunately, you are probably correct (and there are probably some ambulance chasers already starting to count their money). I heard on CNN that eight people so far had gone to emergency rooms with either burns or lung problems from breathing fumes. Of course, these people probably weren't the scumbags that were trying to profit.... they were probably people trying to help. That's usually the way things work out.....
