DJM725
Does anyone have any experience with N320 and 200gn jacketed hollow point bullets (HAP)? I’m shooting them through a Dawson Precision Super Tuned EDGE. I bought 3600 of the 200gn bullets a year ago or so from a guy who was getting out of the game (really cheep, I think I paid $125.00) Helpful ideas or recipes? RH45
Those bullets will ruin your gun! I think you should send them to me. A friend of mine runs 200 grain bullets, most of the time, and although his primary powder is Clays, I know he played with 320. I'll see if he can locate his data. pjb45
I really like VV320 with 200 grain Zeros. I run about 4.5 grains and AOL 1.18. This is a great load. I use them in both my SS (Kart) and SV (NOWLIN).
CocoBolo
I loath titegroup, nasty, hot, violent but I use to run it with 200gr Zeros out of an Edge 4.3gr loaded at 1.200. At colder temps it will get a bit strong, load is for 80+ degrees. N320 should be close to the same load.
mwc
I got the chrono out today and tested my 200 grain load. Using mixed brass, federal primers, 4.6 grains of N320, and Zero 200 jacketed, loaded to 1.185. I averaged 851 fps out of an AET barrel. I use HAP bullets in my Open gun for action pistol (9x23) and my glock 34 with outstanding results. I haven't used them in .40 as I haven't had to take alot of 50 yard shots in USPSA. If I ever do...I will certainly give them a try.
