Mag Catch Spring

I have a custom STI Hi-Cap gun with an over-sized magazine catch button(which I like). I have experienced my mag falling out when placing it on a table, or doing transitions to my week hand. I am thinking if I could get a heavy mag catch spring this would solve my problem. Does anyone know where to find a heavy magazine catch spring?

gunsprings.com, brownells, probably any online gun place that sells springs, It uses the same spring as a 1911 look for the XP springs, or the 5 pak,The spring will help quite a bit, still have to watch it on table starts.

Shooters Connection has "heavy" mag release springs.

Its funny, this also happened to me. I took the button out and shot the gun stock.

my palm never touched the button and it was just right. I guess I solved that problem?

Brownells has just about that you can in or on a gun. Check with them first.
