Operation Specific Training is proud to announce, in conjunction with Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc., the M&P Armorer's Course.

You’ll walk away from this course with a sound understanding of how the S&W M&P is built and how to improve upon its revolutionary design.

Here are the details:

Who: Operation Specific Training will be hosting Randy Lee and Scott Folk of Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc.

What:

The M&P Armorers course is a 10 hour one day class consisting of 2 modules. The first module consists of the mechanical operation of the M&P series pistols, its assemblies/subassemblies and their interactions during normal function. The student will become familiar with disassembly and reassembly of the pistol as well as troubleshooting common problems seen in the field. Further, students will have the opportunity to learn about and install performance parts from Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc. Also covered are any updates, revisions or design changes that have been implemented by the factory into the current product line pistols.

The second module will be highlights from our Practical Fundamentals course. This live fire portion will provide the student with a better understanding of the trigger prep method and how this type of refined trigger control can take advantage of the benefits afforded by the Apex trigger components that were integrated into the pistols in module 1.

Other topics covered are:

• The draw

Hope you have a future class closer to GA!

We're working on scheduling the same class the first part of '12 in St. Augustine, FL. Details will be posted in our dealers forum when we get a schedule. This is a fabulous opportunity to learn from the best in the business as far as the M&P is concerned and if you can swing it I highly recommend it.

Per Randy,

We will cover drop in and semi drop in barrel fitting, and discuss the proper way to fit match/target barrels. That way when Bar-Sto is producing them, you will understand the fitting process.

Here's a flier for the class for anyone interested
